International Cooperation (Cooperation with International Organizations)

Since its establishmentin 1997-98, the Dry Zone Greening Department has continuously been implementing the projects with international aids. With the aids of international organization such as Yomiuri Shinbuirn၊ Japan International Forestry Promotion and Cooperation Center (JIFPRO)၊ Organization for Industrial, Spiritual and Cultural Advancement-International(OISCA)၊ Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA)၊ Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA)၊ United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)၊ Asia Development Bank (ADB)၊Climate Change Center (CCC), the Dry Zone Greening Department has implemented the projects on dry zone forest plantations, forest conservation, environmental education, water supply for local communities and distribution of efficient cooking stoves.
