Duties and responsibilities of the District Assistant Directors

(1) Allocate and assign tasks for greening and environmental conservation activities to be implemented within the district to respective townships, and supervis thereof

(2) Administer staff affairs within the district, and report to and seek guidance from District Authorities for successful implementation of the activities

(3) Oversee educating activities for raising awareness of the whole community within the district on environmental conservation and for strengthening their participation

(4) Manage and implement to ensure timely completion of greening activities and projects to be implemented within the district

(5) Carry out regular reviews on the completion and progress of the activities and report to the Office of the Regional Director together with recommendations

(6) Develop and submit budget estimates required for the district as well as allocate and spend budgets received appropriately in line with the financial regulations,

(7) Supervise for the welfare of subordinate staffs, disciplinary measures and accomplishment of their duties,

(8) Oversee and make arrangements for the operations of greening plantations and of natural forest conservation and protection,

(9) Performing the duties and functions periodically assigned by senior officials and superior organizations.
